What is the UOA?
The Westwood Village Community is split into two associations: the Unit Owner’s Association (UOA) and the Home Owner’s Association (HOA). All owners of the condominium units are members of the UOA while owners of town homes (i.e., buildings that have enclosed garages) are members of the HOA. This website provides information targeted toward the Condo UOA residents only.
In general, the condos are located on the Northeast side of Ashgrove House Lane and the town homes are located on the Southwest side of Ashgrove House Lane.
Community Information
Westwood Village is a small subdivision of Fairfax County, Virginia consisting of 154 luxury condominiums and 112 town homes. There is a shared facility at 8800 Ashgrove House Lane with a party/meeting room, a gym, and a swimming pool.
The community has several large common areas spread across the property which are all easily and safely accessible by sidewalks and paths. The South and Southwest sides of the community are bordered by parkland and the Ash Grove historic site. The North and Northwest sides of the property are bordered by the Sheraton Premiere and Dulles Airport Access Road (Rt. 267).
Area Information & Demographics
Tysons Corner is located in the 22182 zip code encompassing parts of both Vienna and McLean, VA. The city initially gained popularity due to the development of Tysons Corner Mall which is one of the largest and well known in the US. More recently, its geographic proximity to major highways like Interstate 495, Route 66, and Route 267 (Dulles Airport Access Road) along with the new Dulles Metro rail has made the area more popular for commuters. Tysons Corner has a highly educated and diverse population with a median household income of approximately $120,000/year.
Tysons Corner is also Fairfax County’s central business district, with the largest concentration of office space in Northern Virginia. It is also the corporate headquarters of Booz Allen Hamilton, Capital One, Freddie Mac, Gannett Company, Hilton Worldwide, MicroStrategy, USA Today, along with many others.
