To All Owners and Residents –
As mentioned, we reported a detailed complaint with our Snow Removal Contractor yesterday. This garnered the attention of ownership within the company, and we had a substantial, supervised team arrive yesterday.
Key work performed yesterday afternoon:
- At the front gate, clearance of ice and snow for the entire walking path to the start of the Sheraton Premiere’s back parking lot that borders our community.
- Clearance of sidewalks where they meet the curbs/street and additional magnesium chloride placed throughout the community.
- A front loader and workers removing additional ice/snow in front of vehicles.
- A plow and front loader working in tandem to remove snow from areas where there was a significant number of parking spaces without vehicles.
- A plow and front loader working to remove snow from the open handicap spots and EV charger area.
- Rod and team also worked on a few buildings where the steps were still not fully cleared.
Today, the following is expected:
- Rod and team will try to further clear snow from inside of the trash corrals.
- Rod and team will continue to monitor where magnesium chloride may be helpful to combat icy spots.
- The Townhomes’ Snow Removal Contractor will be trying to clear the shared visitor parking on Ashgrove House Lane to the extent cars are not parked in that area.
Please be advised that there is limited shared visitor parking at the front of the community, as we had to use some of the Northern Neck spots to push snow. Please also note the rules still apply regarding the short-term nature of shared-visitor spots, limiting the number of days vehicles are permitted to park in those spots consecutively. Those spots right now are needed for daily arrivals of maintenance vehicles and other short-term visitors to property.
Our Snow Removal contractor will return Monday, as temperatures get above freezing, to continue to clear parking spaces that they were unable to clear yesterday, among other tasks. If you are able, don’t wait for our Snow Removal Contractor to clear your reserved spot. They need at least 3 empty spots together to safely load and remove snow. Any help you can give to continue to return to normal is appreciated.
Thank you for your patience
Regards,
