To All Owners and Residents –
As discussed at the recent Board meeting, an arborist will be applying systemic soil treatments today (June 1st) to help control insects that damage trees throughout the community. This treatment will help with the general health of our trees and plants and is one of the ways the UOA is working to address resident complaints regarding the community trees. Among other benefits, this treatment helps to reduce the impact of aphids that excrete the honeydew sap-like substance that owners have noticed on their cars during previous summers.
Treatments will largely be on the Linden trees and Crape Myrtle trees throughout the community.
No parking is impacted relative to this service.
As also discussed at the recent Board meeting, pruning will take place late June throughout the community. We will provide a separate announcement later this week indicating the dates of the service and impacted areas on each day.
Regards,
WWV CUOA
